Repetitive Strain Injury RSI
Repetitive Strain Injury RSI is an injury caused to muscles when the same movement or activity is repeated over and over again, the muscles become fatigued and contracted. This leads to a condition that leads to constant unremitting pain. Ultrasound and Interferential Therapy and Kinesiotaping are very helpful in treating this condition.
Repetitive strain injury can also be caused by incorrect seating positions at work or at home, leading to strain of the same muscles over time. Our osteopaths will be able to help you understand where your posture is out of balance and put it back into line, and also give some personalised exercises to help prevent the discomfort from returning. If symptoms do not reduce significantly we can refer you to other therapists and consultants who we work alongside who will be able to help.
